Located in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir, Nottinghamshire, Langar Airfield is a favourite with experienced skydivers and students alike. Our expansive landing area is perfect for students and our spectator facilities make it a great place for your family to watch you as you come in to land.

Why learn to skydive in the UK?

• Skydiving close to home - so continue to skydive in the same place once you're qualified.
• The UK skydiving community. There are hundreds of skydivers across the UK, many of whom jump at Langar. You'll meet a whole range of different people from across the country.
• Jump with UK National Champions. Your instructor Phil Curtis has competed at the UK Skydiving Nationals many times and has even represented the UK at world competitions and world records. But he's not the only one! Many of the skydivers you'll meet at Skydive Langar are ex or current UK National and International competitors.

Becoming a Qualified Skydiver in the UK

Becoming a qualified skydiver in the UK can take a little time as a week. You'll go through eight levels of AFF and earn your full skydiving license which can be used anywhere in the world.

Course prices include membership to the British Parachute Association which is mandatory when jumping in the UK.

Skydive Langar is right in the middle of English countryside so benefits from a very comfortable and well maintained camping area. You're welcome to bring along your own tent, or borrow one of ours - please let us know you want this when booking your course.

The facilities on site are some of the best for a skydiving centre in the UK and you'll benefit from our recently refurbished shower area and communal facilities.

There's also a great social scene. Langar Airfield itself has an on-site bar where you can meet and chat with other skydivers, whilst the surrounding area has country pubs and entertainment in nearby Nottingham city centre.
